The 2023-2024 Northwest Region season launched in dramatic fashion at Lake Granbury on Saturday, October 28, 2023! The competition kicked off with an unexpected downpour, but that didn’t dampen the energy or determination of our youth anglers. They rose to the challenge, making this opener one to remember! 🌧️💪

With 60 teams on the water and tons of talent on display, we’re excited to share that we kicked off the season with an impressive 💰 $8,120 in total cash payouts! 💰

🏆 High School Division Winners:
🥇 1st Place: Max Moore – 15.04 lbs, Payout: $3,000
🥈 2nd Place: Atticus Bandy & Nevan Osburn – 12.80 lbs, Payout: $1,200
🥉 3rd Place: Carter Cooke & Sean O’Halloran – 9.27 lbs, Payout: $625
💸 Additional $1,075 paid to 4th–7th place!

🏅 Junior Division Winners:
🥇 1st Place: Charles Bender & Hank Riley – 6.43 lbs, Payout: $1,000
🥈 2nd Place: Ty Montgomery – 6.29 lbs, Payout: $500
🥉 3rd Place: Will Youngblood – 5.36 lbs, Payout: $220

🐟 Big Bass Winners:
🎣 Atticus Bandy & Nevan Osburn hauled in the Big Bass of the day at 7.64 lbs, taking home the $500 payout!
