2025β2026 Texas B.A.S.S. Nation Youth
Schedule Announced
2025-2026 Youth Division Schedule Is Here for All Regions!
We are excited to officially announce the Texas B.A.S.S. Nation Youth Division 2025β2026 Tournament Schedule! This season is shaping up to be one of our best yet, with incredible opportunities for Junior and High School anglers to compete, grow, and make lasting memories on the water.
Whether youβre a returning team or new to the trail, we canβt wait to see you out there representing your school and community.
Below is the full season schedule for all regions:
Note: The Northeast Regional Championship has been rescheduled to Saturday & Sunday, May 9β10, 2026 to avoid a conflict with the Texas High School Bass Association (THSBA) schedule. This change ensures all Northeast anglers have the opportunity to participate in this major regional event.
Looking Ahead to an Incredible Season
Our anglers continue to raise the bar each year, and we canβt wait to watch the skill, sportsmanship, and passion you bring to the water this season. From first casts at your opener to the final weigh-in at the championship, we know itβs going to be a season filled with great competition and unforgettable moments.

Weβre excited to announce two outstanding additions to our leadership team at Texas B.A.S.S. Nation Youth.
Chris Thorn will serve as our new Northeast Regional Director, and Jonathan Britt will step into the role of Northwest Regional Director. Both bring a deep passion for fishing, strong family values, and proven leadership in youth fishing programs. We’re proud to have them help shape the next generation of Texas anglers.
Chris Thorn
Northeast Regional Director
Chris Thorn brings a lifelong love for the outdoors into his new role as Northeast Regional Director. At 48, Chris is an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer, and heβs passionate about helping young people experience the same connection to nature that has shaped his life.Β
Chris owns Lanyard Construction and lives in Texas with his wife Jessica and their two sons, Case (13) and Caden (11). Case shares his dadβs love for fishing, golf, and hunting, while Caden enjoys the outdoors and playing baseball. As a family, the Thorns are committed to spending time together outdoors and encouraging other families to do the same. They are strong advocates for getting kids off screens and into the natural world.Β
Chris is honored to step into this leadership role and looks forward to mentoring youth anglers and helping grow the Northeast region of Texas B.A.S.S. Nation Youth.
Jonathan Britt
Northwest Regional Director
Jonathan Britt is a dedicated father of five and a lifelong fisherman whose family is deeply involved in the fishing industry. Together, they travel for tournaments, collaborate on fishing-related businesses, and actively support youth fishing efforts across the state.
Jonathan leads the Decatur youth fishing team, a position heβs held for the past three years, and previously supported several other youth teams. He and his family also run sLiK Baits, a custom bait and rod manufacturing business, where Jonathan personally handcrafts rods and soft plastics. Through their other venture, tourneyinabox.com, they organize tournaments for bass clubs, fundraisers, and special events throughout Texas.
Jonathan is thrilled to join the Texas B.A.S.S. Nation Youth leadership team and is committed to giving as many kids as possible the opportunity to fall in love with the sport of fishing, just like he did as a child.
Please join us in welcoming Chris and Jonathan to our leadership team. With their experience, energy, and passion for youth development, the future of Texas B.A.S.S. Nation Youth is in great hands!
On June 5β6, the best of the best from all three Texas B.A.S.S. Nation Youth regions β Northeast, Northwest, and Southeast β came together to battle it out in our biggest event of the year: the 2-day State Championship.
